Privacy Policy

This website is my portfolio. It does not use cookies, analytics, tracking or advertising, and it loads no content from third parties — fonts are served from this site itself. Personal data is processed only when you visit the site (technical server logs) and when you contact me. This policy explains what happens in each case.

Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., USA. When you open a page, your browser necessarily sends technical data, which Vercel processes on my behalf to deliver the site and keep it secure: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, referrer URL, and browser and operating system (user agent). This data is not combined with other data and is not used to identify you. Vercel keeps such logs only for a limited period under its own retention rules.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — my legitimate interest in delivering the website reliably and securely. I have a data processing agreement with Vercel. Data may be transferred to the USA; Vercel is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition. Contact form

If you send a request through the contact form, I process the data you enter: your name, email address and message, and — if you choose them — project type and budget. I use this data only to answer your request and, if we decide to work together, to prepare an offer. Name, email and message are required; without them I cannot reply. Everything else is optional.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a possible contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

The form is processed by a server function on Vercel (see above) and delivered to my email inbox byResend (Resend, Inc., USA), which acts as my processor solely for the purpose of delivery. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. More information:resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

I delete your request once it has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply — for example, commercial and tax law requires correspondence that leads to a contract to be kept for six to ten years.

The form contains a hidden field to block spam bots; it does not collect any additional data about you.

Contacting me directly

You can also reach me by email, WhatsApp or Telegram. In that case I process the data you send me (e.g. name, contact details, message) to answer you, on the same legal bases and with the same retention as for the contact form. The WhatsApp and Telegram links only open the respective app or website when you click them; no data is transferred before that. When you use these services, their own privacy policies apply — WhatsApp is operated in the EU by WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta).

Cookies and local storage

This website does not set cookies and does not store anything in your browser's local storage. No consent banner is therefore needed.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data I hold about you (Art. 15);
• have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16);
• have your data erased (Art. 17);
• restrict processing (Art. 18);
• receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20);
• object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21).

To exercise these rights, email me. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one responsible for me: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg.

Security

The website is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS).

Automated decisions

I do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

Changes

I update this policy when the website or the services it uses change. The current version is always available on this page. See also the Terms of Use and theImpressum.
